Garima Lohia, a style strategist, fashion designer and etiquette enthusiast, is the founder and creative director of La Voguette, a 1950’s Parisian fashion-inspired label and store. Established out of New Delhi and with a growing global presence.
Backed by an entrepreneurial spirit and education, with a personal vision and a keen observance of classic fashion, the label was created by her with a belief that luxe fashion should not be only something that is expensive and has to be changed every few months but your ensemble should be an asset which adds to your grace and persona, Garima created studio La Voguette as a platform for making and selling affordable vintage inspired luxury fashion and educating women about the art of personal presentation and refined etiquette.
“I help my clients discover their own inner radiance while mentoring them in international etiquette rules and guidelines, style, and savoir-vivre — the ability to live life well with intelligence, meeting every situation with poise, good manners, and elegance. I want a woman to feel confident about her existing charm and beauty, and help enhance and embrace her spirit and her personality.”
Inspired by iconic beauties like Audrey Hepburn and Hedy Lamar, who were not just pioneers in fashion, but also made significant contributions to science and philanthropy were known for their disciplined and graceful way of living. Garima likes to build the confidence and add to the character of women through interesting styling and personal presentation.
Every woman is capable of feeling and dressing like a Duchess. Which is why Garima, who holds a degree in international etiquette and protocol, likes to integrate her finishing school skills by blending fashion with the lost art of etiquette. At her studio at La Voguette, she not only designs and retails women’s wear fashion but also does personal styling and holds etiquette workshops and classes.
